Jewel was offered to me when I was looking for a Section B mare and I justified buying her by telling myself that as she was right up to 12 hh I could breed both Sections A & B from her. A lovely big mare with a superb temperament, Jewel had already been very successfully shown in Victoria including among her wins Reserve Champion Mare Victorian All Welsh Show and Champion Welsh Feature Show. Her foals in Victoria had also been outstanding and included the very successful Mariana Lodge Natasha. Jewel bred four excellent foals for me, all of who began their show careers with great success at NSW All Breeds Foal Show with W Gem & Jewel both winning Supreme Welsh Exhibit, Jade winning a Champion & Reserve Champion and Justice being Champion Welsh Gelding & Best Gelding of the Show.
